Do it. I dare you. Live the kind of life you’ll be proud of on your death bed. Take chances. Get crushes. Fail.
Find out about other people. Let other people find out about you. Love each other. Love yourself.
Embrace your fear. Identify what you’re afraid of. Now ask yourself: how will I react if this happens? Will the world still turn? Can I still show my face? Will I eventually forgive myself?
The answer is almost always yes.
If you let yourself hear the answer yes, the question will present itself. And you will love the question.
Love yourself.
Hold yourself accountable for more stuff. Let yourself off the hook more often. Be kind. Love yourself.
You did some terrible things, didn’t you? To get where you are. You did things you regret. You hurt people’s feelings, inadvertently, sometimes. You grabbed and took. You were selfish.
Is that unique to you? Doesn’t everyone do that at some point? Don’t you deserve forgiveness? Especially from yourself? Don’t you deserve to forgive yourself? You can be more kind. You can love yourself.
It takes some focus but you can do it. That is how you can change the world. You love yourself.
You live without shame. Can you do it?
Can you live without feeling ashamed? Do you owe it to yourself? The world?
Are you content to lie back and watch other people decide for you how the world will be? Can you be the change you want? What if you were brave? How could you affect the world if you were brave?
I am proud of you. I have love for you. You can love yourself. All it takes is for you to Ignite It.
Get that spark going. Or burn the whole place down trying.
Oh yeah:
This whole post was just an elaborate intro to a Katie Perry cover. Roy Flores came over and we sang a song.
Yes. I’m aware of the irony. However…
I do think you should love yourself.
I love you. You were created perfect and you can be still be perfect if you let yourself.
There is nothing wrong with you.
And OMG. BTDubS.
Happy Sunday. Jerks.
